TVS iQube electric scooter will be available in 1,000 Indian dealers

TVS Motor Company has announced that by March 2022, its iQube electric scooter will be up for grabs at 1,000 dealerships in major Indian cities. Currently, it is only available in Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Delhi and Pune.
As for the highlights, the vehicle has a minimalist look, runs on a 2.25 kWh battery and promises a range of 75 km.

The scooter offers a bluetooth enabled dashboard and black alloy rims
TVS iQube sports a flat-type seat with a storage compartment underneath, a headlight-mounted front apron, a flat footboard, a passenger grab bar and white paint.
It houses a fully LED setup for lighting, a Bluetooth-enabled TFT instrument cluster with support for smartphone connectivity, and designer black alloy wheels.
It has 150mm of ground clearance and tips the scales at 118kg.
It is powered by a 4.4 kW electric motor
The iQube TVS houses a 4.4 kW electric motor and a 2.25 kWh battery. The configuration delivers 140 Nm of torque and allows the scooter to offer a range of 75 km per charge. It also boasts a top speed of 78 km / h.
It is equipped with a hydraulic rear shock absorber
To ensure runners are safe, the IQube TVs is equipped with a disc brake on the front wheel, a drum brake on the rear wheel and an electronic brake system for better handling.
The suspension functions of the electric scooter are provided by telescopic forks at the front and a hydraulic twin-tube shock absorber at the rear.

In Delhi, the TVS iQube electric scooter is priced at Rs. 1 lakh (ex-showroom). At this price, it flies in the face of competitors such as the Ather 450X and the Bajaj Chetak.
