The large-scale event, which took place on July 8, aims to discuss a new system of agricultural aggregation in Morocco, with a focus on the citrus industry and development prospects.

In the presence of HE Mohamed Ali Habouha, governor of the province of Berkane, the event brought together high-level officials and actors from the agricultural sector in Morocco, in particular:
• Nabil Chaouki, Director, Sectors Development Department (DDFP),
• El Mahdi Arrifi, Director General of the Agricultural Development Agency (ADA),
• Professor Faouzi Bekkaoui, Director of the National Institute of Agronomic Research (INRA),
• Abdellah Jrid, President of the Association of Citrus Producers of Morocco (ASPAM), and;
• Otman Rouchdi, Managing Director of Domaines Zniber.
In her speech, Rita Maria Zniber, CEO and President of Diana Holding, praised the “leadership and vision of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, who aspires to make Morocco a champion of African agriculture, and reiterated his commitment economic, social and environmental to boost the agri-food industry. “
The event reflects the efforts of Diana Holding to strengthen competitiveness and position the Moroccan citrus industry as one of the key players on the international scene, and better meet the demands of local and global markets. It also enabled Domaines Zniber to present their aggregation projects and take stock of the development prospects of the agricultural sector.
A visit was organized to the Berkane Packaging Station at Domaines Zniber, equipped with high-tech machines to ensure optimal storage, conditioning and conditioning of citrus fruits, with a total export capacity of 100,000 tonnes.
