2021 Yamaha NMAX 125, with new features, launched in Japan

Japanese automaker Yamaha has launched the 2021 iteration of its NMAX 125 scooter in its home country. It will go on sale there in four colors from June 28.
As for the highlights, the vehicle has a sporty look and comes with a host of new features. It derives its power from a 124cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine that meets Euro 5 standards.

The scooter has an LCD dashboard
The 2021 Yamaha NMAX 125 sits on an undertone frame and features an apron-mounted headlight, raised one-piece seat with a passenger grab bar, under-seat storage, and an ascending exhaust.
It contains an LCD dashboard with smartphone connectivity, a full LED setup for lighting and rolls on blacked-out wheels. He now tips the scales at 131 kg.
It delivers a mileage of 46.9 km / liter
The 2021 Yamaha NMAX 125 is powered by a liquid-cooled 124cc single cylinder engine that meets Euro 5 standards which generates a maximum power of 11.8hp and maximum torque of 11Nm. The scooter has a silent starter and delivers a mileage of 46.9 km / liter.
The vehicle has two rear shock absorbers
In terms of safety equipment, the Yamaha NMAX 125 2021 is equipped with disc brakes on the front and rear wheels as well as an engine start-stop system and switchable traction control.
The suspension functions on the maxi style scooter are taken care of by telescopic forks at the front and two shock absorbers at the rear.

In Japan, the 2021 Yamaha NMAX 125 costs 368,500 JPY (about 2.46 lakh). The maxi-style scooter will be made in Indonesia and exported to the country where it goes on sale on June 28.
